What time does my child need to arrive by?

Registrations open at 8:30am where we have fun activities available for your children.
The programme starts at 9am. Please make sure your child is there, as they don't like to miss out on any fun!

We've never been to Kings Club before, what happens when I first arrive?

You will be greeted by our friendly volunteers who will guide you through the process. On your first day, you will receive your Registration Pack. This will include your child's bar code and instructions on the sign-in and sign-out process. Our bar codes are designed to ensure safety for all our children in our care and to speed up the drop off and collection times. Your child's safety is our priority, you WILL NEED these bar codes to sign your child in and out so please look after them.

How do I Sign-in and Sign-out my child?

All children must be promptly collected from King's Club at 12:30pm by an authorised adult, as nominated on the registration form. Please have your barcodes ready to make this process more streamlined.
Every child will need a barcode or the adult collecting them will need to have proof of ID if the barcode has been lost.
While our sign in/out system is quick and efficient, it can get quite busy during these times. Your patience whilst our volunteer staff undertake the important task of ensuring that all children are collected by an authorised adult will be appreciated.

What do I do if I have to pick up my child out early?

This is not a problem, but it requires a different process. Please report to the front office upon arrival at the church. You will be guided through our process.

What if someone else needs to pick up my child?

If your child is to be collected by someone other than whom you've nominated, you can take a photo of your barcode with your smartphone and send it to whom you wish to give authority to collect your child. Please notify us before pick up time on 9448 7018 of this change to avoid delays in the sign out queue.

What does my child need to bring?

Please come in comfy casual clothes and sensible shoes. It is suggested that your child brings a jumper as some of the games are held outside and it can get a bit cold at this time of the year. Please ensure that all items of clothing are labelled with their name. Unless it is for a medical reason, please do not send your child to Kings Club with a water bottle or a backpack as we do not have the facilities to store these. We do ensure your child is well catered for throughout the morning. Please leave valuables at home in case they get lost or damaged.

What do you do at Kings Club?

Kings Club is a fantastic morning filled with fun, games, interactive Bible teaching, singing, dancing, arts, crafts, recreational activities and of course a tasty morning tea! Let's just say it is a busy, energy soaked and packed with great learning all morning.

What is the Friday Night Family Finale?

The children and their families are invited to the Friday Night Family Finale for light refreshments and to see what your children have been doing all week. If you forgot to let us know or your plans have changed and you would like to come along, this isn't a problem. Please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to let us know how many will be attending. This is a celebration that the children absolutely love and is a fun evening for the whole family!

Can I stay with my child?

We love having parents stick around at Kings Club! We work hard to ensure we recruit enough leaders and volunteers to create a safe, well-supervised environment for your child, but we welcome all parents to stay behind in our cafe to enjoy barista coffees and delicious treats while you watch your kids enjoy the program. We have staff and church volunteers available in the cafe to serve you and we'd love you to stick around for a chat! Stay as long as you like, or drop your children off and run - it's completely up to you!

Do you serve food?

Yes! At morning tea, children will be given a light snack. Sweet treats are served to parents in our café. Please note we are a nut aware environment and provide accordingly.

What if my child has food allergies?

We do our utmost to be inclusive of all our children visiting King's Club. If your child does have food allergies that we cannot cater for we will discuss this with you.

Who are your volunteers?

We have a large but carefully selected team of wonderful volunteers who primarily come from our North Beach Baptist Church community. We adhere to a strict screening programme to ensure that all adults working with children have been cleared to do so. The screening process includes (where applicable) National Police Clearances, referee checks and a current Working with Children Check card.

What if my child requires first aid at Kings Club?

We, at North Beach Baptist Church, understand the importance of creating a caring and safe environment for your children, thereby making it easier for you to entrust your children to us during King's Club. A trained First Aid volunteer is on duty for the duration of King's Club during the daytime programme.

You must discuss any medical conditions, asthma puffers and Epipens noted on the registration form with our First Aid volunteer before signing in your child on your child's first day at King's Club.

If your child requires an Epipen or a puffer, this isn't a problem, please contact the church office as we have strict legal requirements for these items that we have to adhere to.

How do I pay after registering?

There is a one off $15 administration fee per child for the week. We kindly ask you pay within 5 days of registering to secure your spot in the program.
