King’s Club is a school holiday program, which is completely free of charge, running for 5 days during the first week of the July school holidays. Each day we have up to 500 kids and it is aimed at children in Kindy to Year 7.

Each year we follow a different theme. In 2011 we enjoyed “Out of this World: A Space Adventure”.

Registration forms will become available in the weeks leading up to King’s Club. Contact the church office if you would like a form sent out to you, or download a form from this website closer to the date.

The program begins at 9am starting with stories from the Bible, drama, singing games and competitions. Following this “together time”, the older children (year 5, 6 and 7) go to KC Next G – a more age-appropriate program running parallel to King’s Club. During this time the younger children participate in craft, games and morning tea. Through these activities the kids learn Bible verses, songs, and enjoy games and crafts that teach them how to live with Jesus as their King.

The day concludes at 12.30. We have our cafe open all morning for parents/carers who would like to enjoy a free coffee and cake, or you are welcome to drop off the kids and have a morning of peace. The week concludes on Friday night with our Family Finale. You can watch your children perform the songs and games that they have learnt and over supper meet other parents.

At North Beach we have considered the importance of creating a caring and safe environment for your children. Each year we have a registered nurse or qualified first aid officer among our volunteers. Our church also has a strict screening programme to ensure that all persons working with children have been cleared to do so. We do this by a National Police clearance and Working with Children Cards.

If you have any further queries about King’s Club, please contact Laura at the church office or via email.
