Tony Spencer (Senior Pastor)

TonyTony Spencer joined the pastoral team at North Beach Baptist Church in January 2000 and was appointed Senior Pastor in August 2003. Having grown up in Western Australia he has lived and worked all over the state. After spending 2 years in aboriginal work in the Kimberley, Tony returned to Perth to commence studies at Trinity Theological College.

For the last year of his studies he was also serving as pastoral intern of the Melville Baptist Church and upon completion of his studies received a call to North Beach.

Mark’s areas or ministry and responsibility are in  preaching and discipleship overseeing the home fellowship groups.

Mark and his wife Tracey have been members at NBBC since 1999 after migrating from South Africa. He had significant experience in the workforce before entering theological studies and responding to Gods call towards full-time ministry.

Church in Shenton Park with Matt graduating from Trinity Theological College and marrying Corinne along the way, he headed up North to Dongara where they pastored a small town church together. Matt loves to see God at work in young people and is committed to training and discipling as the key to that end.

Over the years Matt’s motto verse has been 1 Thessalonians 2:8. “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our very lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.”

His passion is to train and equip leaders to do the work of gospel discipleship.

Matt takes great joy in seeing his kids love Jesus and the Dockers. He also loves bashing drums, strumming guitars and thrashing the other team in basketball.
