Playgroup is an informal and relaxed activity for caregivers and their children (0-5 years).
It is a time for children to:
- Play with other children and adults in a safe environment.
- Practice sharing and co-operating with other children.
- Learn more about God, themselves, and the world they live in.
- Become used to a group routine and environment.
- Have fun!
It is a time for caregivers to:
- Meet other caregivers and build new relationships.
- Relax and talk in a friendly environment.
- Encourage and be encouraged.
- Share with and learn from others.
- Find out about other suitable activities happening in the church and the community.
Activities include:
- Music and singing.
- Outdoor play.
- Free play (unstructured play) indoors.
- Outings.
- Art and craft activities.
- Interactive group games.
Playgroup is held in the Child Care Rooms each Tuesday of School Term from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
