What is Ignite?

Ignite is the youth group at NBBC. We cater for youth in years 7-12. We meet at North Beach Baptist Church between 7:30pm-9:30pm on Friday Nights during the school term.

What do you do at Ignite?

At Ignite we want to help our youth become committed disciples of the Lord Jesus. At Ignite Jesus is our focus. We want our youth to know and follow Jesus. When we meet we learn about Jesus from the Bible and encourage each other to live for Jesus and depend on him.

At Ignite we also seek to have good and godly relationships between those who come. Our youth love hanging out together on Friday nights. On Friday nights we come together to hear a Bible talk, sing, pray, play games and hang out. Many of our youth also go to a small group at other times during the week. In small groups our youth build stronger friendships whilst praying for each other and looking at how the Bible changes our lives.

It is very important to us that we have a committed leadership who love teaching our youth about Jesus and sharing life together with them. Our leaders are trained and equipped Christians who help provide our youth with a fun and safe environment to learn about Jesus.
