Playgroup 

 

    

Playgroup is an informal and relaxed activity for caregivers and their children

(0-5 years). 

It is a time for children to:

 

  • Play with other children and adults in a safe environment.

  • Practice sharing and co-operating with other children.

  • Learn more about God, themselves, and the world they live in.

  • Become used to a group routine and environment.

  • Have fun!

 

It is a time for caregivers to:

 

  • Meet other caregivers and build new relationships.

  • Relax and talk in a friendly environment.

  • Encourage and be encouraged.

  • Share with and learn from others.

  • Find out about other suitable activities happening in the church and the community.

 

Activities include:

 

  • Music and singing.

  • Outdoor play.

  • Free play (unstructured play) indoors.

  • Outings.

  • Art and craft activities.

  • Interactive group games.

 

Playgroup is held in the Child Care Rooms each Tuesday of School Term

from 9.30 am to 11.30 am.
