The aim of our women’s ministry at North Beach is to encourage women to serve and motivate one another on to maturity in Christ and to enable women to develop their spiritual gifts in order to build up the church and reach out to the community with the gospel of Christ.
Women from NBBC meet regularly in other settings to connect with one another and support each other. Several women's Growth Groups meet each week to study the Bible and share life together. We also have a ladies Bible Study with creche, on Tuesday mornings of school term. The aim is to provide encouragement and fellowship for women within the church and the wider community to enable spiritual growth, strengthening of faith, love for the Gospel and our sisters in Christ. We host several opportunities each year to hear some testimonies and every year there is a large evangelistic ladies evening for women leading up to Christmas.
Women of Titus 2
An opportunity for older women to intentionally come alongside younger women to help them fulfil their calling by godly mentoring that teaches, encourages and disciples them for God's glory.
Mentoring that TEACHES: Teaching younger women how to fulfil the role that God has given them - whether single or married.
Mentoring that ENCOURAGES: Encouraging and strengthening younger women in their prayerfulness and knowledge of God's word and how it applies to their role.
Mentoring that DISCIPLES: Showing what it truly means to be a disciple of Christ in our various roles, and modelling how to respond to life's challenges.
Mentoring that gives God the GLORY: This is our continual privilege, responsibility and challenge. The reality is, we need to continually help each other do this, or we loose sigh of God and who we are.
