Share In

Friday Mornings at 10am

Every Friday morning during school term time, around 300 people gather at NBBC for Share In. This group meets the need of everyone: seniors, young mums (childcare provided), people with special needs and anyone who enjoys time out to be creative or just to make friends.

Crafts are taught by friendly helpful teachers (at no cost for learning the crafts) and the choices range from Sewing to Mosaics, Scrapbooking, Card making, painting and more. The "Share In" experience provides a warm loving environment where people get a sense of belonging amongst those they get to know and chat with every week.

At mid-morning everyone comes together for morning tea and a 5 minute "think spot", which builds bridges for people to consider their relationship with God.

Seniors Communion & Lunch

First Wednesday every month at 11:30am

The seniors meet monthly for a communion service followed by lunch. The occasion gives the opportunity for both fellowship and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper together. Hymns are used to cater for those who particularly appreciate a more traditional worship style. Many of them say they look forward to these occasions because of the family atmosphere and a sense of belonging. This is open to all ages and to people from any church, even those who don't regularly go to church.

Kid's Hope

Positive human relationships are the building blocks for healthy development. Yet many Australian children lack significant one-to‑one relationships with caring adults. Teachers see what the research has shown – that early intervention into the lives of vulnerable children will significantly improve their life chances in education, health, social competence and wellbeing. We train mentors from the church to meet a child for one hour per week at the school. The results can change lives.

One Mentor + One Child = One Bright Future!
